Coventry has just one Crematorium (Canley Garden cemetery and crematorium) owned and run by Coventry City Council. It is locally known as 'Coventry Crematorium' of just 'Canley'.
Coventry Crematorium is located to the south-west of the city, just off the Kempas Highway (A45). Although the address and postcode is given as Cannon Hill Road, there are two entrances. The main entrance being in Cannon Hill Road and a second in Charter Avenue.
Parking is located on the right-hand side just in from the main gates from Charter Avenue and on the left in Cannon Hill Road entrance. The Both chapels are located at the top of the drive on both entrances. The Canon Hill Road entrance is more impressive and beautifully laid-out.
Located just in the Garden of Remembrance stands a memorial to 18 servicemen who gave their lives during the Second World War.
Their ages ranged from 19 to 63 with the majority being in the twenties and thirties when they died.
The two youngest servicemen were Oliver Gibbs who served in the Royal Army Medical Corp., and died at just 19. Wyndham Price serving in the Royal Navy was also just 19.
Arthur McNeil was a Lieutenant-Commander serving on HMS Shrapnel was 63 when he died in June 1945.

Canley Garden has seen over the years a number of famous, infamous, and our war heroes buried and cremated here. The list includes:

- Philip Burnett Franklin Agee (American CIA turned-agent, Author - 1935-2008)
- Arthur Hutt (WWI Victoria Cross Recipient - 1889-1964)
- Mick Leahy (Professional Boxer - 1935-2010)
Cannon Hill Chapel
Every funeral service has a 45 minute time slot. This will allow for a 30-minute service.
The crematorium has Obitus Music and Webcam system installed. This allows the service to be streamed over a closed Internet group. Your funeral Director will be able to arrange this. It is a safe, easy and non-intrusive system allowing only the people you wish to see the funeral being allowed to view. It is password controlled and operated.
