Hi Chris,

I am so grateful for the service you provided for my grandad. It was absolutely perfect in every way and certainly made me flood a good few tears.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father, I’m sure he would’ve have been proud of how well you handled doing my grandads funeral with the grief you must have been going through. I’m sure I felt the connection of upset as I looked up at you when ‘dancing in the sky’ came on and thought you was shedding a tear to, if so I now know why...

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts honestly. Also communication before and after the service was spot on we felt so comfortable and knew every move before the service started. The eulogy that was read out by yourself was also perfect it couldn’t have been put any better, it truly did describe my grandad in every word and every way.

When we asked you Melissa [The Funeral Arranger at Hemming and Peace, Alcester] for someone to take our funeral service for Peter, you said that you thought you may have just the person and you were right.

Chris came to our house for a meeting with myself and my sons and daughter.  We had a very easy and relaxed discussion about Peter and how we would like to put together a service for him.  Chris very easily picked up on the type and tone of service we wanted and with our own input and a few emails back and forth we got it all put together without any difficulty. 

He guided us with choices of music, timings and order of the content. 

Chris was able to add fitting comments to his own words at the service and we felt that he looked after us very well with his kind and caring attitude.

Dear Chris,

After losing our Father we chose a Funeral Director based upon their personal touches, their tailored, thoughtful service and this is what we wanted in our funeral celebrant as well. Our Funeral Directors suggested you Chris as our proposed celebrant, they mentioned they had known you for sometime but had never had the opportunity to work with you but believed you would be the ideal fit for the type of service and feel to our Dads funeral that we were looking for.

We are a large family and there was a lot of raw emotion but they were right, from the first conversation to our final chats you were empathetic, helpful and above all listened. You heard many stories of our Dad, from many perspectives, a wife's, children, grandchildren and friends, how he was such a loved figure in our family and the tribute you wrote from all you gathered encapsulated our Dad perfectly.  

It was personal and bespoke for Dad, you could see you had really taken the time and effort with getting this just right. We could not have asked for a more fitting send off and a more heartfelt tribute. Chris, you did all of this whilst dealing with your own very recent personal loss, which I only found out about after our Dads service, I was truly astounded and touched that you still felt you wanted to conduct our Fathers service and for this I can only further commend and thank you. You are a true professional with genuine compassion, highly recommended. Thank you so very much Chris.

I hope you are doing okay yourself, we can both relate to how hard a time this is, so please take care and take time to look after yourself too.
