Devall & Son - In 1986 David and Stephanie Devall established their Funeral Business business, Devall & Son in Nuneaton. The roots of the business can be traced back to Maurice Devall. At the age of 15, Maurice became a carpenter, creating coffins for his local community in Crewe, Cheshire.
He was a well respected person within his area and expertise, so-much-so he rose through the ranks of the funeral business he was with at the time. He was the inspiration for both David and Stephanie to follow in his footsteps and create their own family Funeral business.
Devall & Son
Maurice suddenly passed away in 1969. His legacy of looking after people has continued. One-by-one each family member followed in Maurice's steps and joined the industry and the family business - Devall & Son. The present building - Wembrook House was opened in 1986. Purpose built; impressive but not imposing or intimidating. The meeting rooms inside are beautifully appointed and give an air of relaxed ease. A welcoming receptionist is always there to help and guide you to the right person; be it the need to talk with a Funeral Arranger about someone who has just passed away, future planning for yourself or family with a Pre-Need Plan or sorting out a Memorial headstone or plaque you are after.
What ever your need, they are always attentive, caring and listen to your needs and wishes. Telephoning before your arrival is preferred in order for them to prepare for your needs and the right person to see you.
Their passion for helping and going-that-extra-mile is still evident today under the leadership and guidance of Daniel Devall. Daniel became Managing Director in 2018 continuing the work started all those years ago.
Their business has expanded, Devall & Son now have an office in Coventry.
